Task 2 - Ideas Generation Techniques

The initial ideas for my final major, I thought about what I was going to do at first and had some ideas on what's best for the design that I am going for, First I had 3d environments on my mind and having to use unity for it but had some thinking about it on doing 2d as well but with the 3d work I thought it would make a better presentation as a good standard work so I thought about how to start it off and what I would do.

This is the mind map that I planned out and I had some ideas on what my final major might look like and I want it to be more of a detailed back garden/luxury swimming pool, I want the area to be quite small so I could focus on making each texture and models very detailed as I can. Instead of having a large area to work on it would be hard and take a long time making each textures detailed. It's best to work on a small area and with that I based it off the present/modern time considering we they mostly have the modern look to it now, most objects that I am planning to have is chairs, tables, small trees, water for the pool and maybe rocks, tiles, marble. Altogether I will be trying to make each of those object and textures really detailed as I want my 3d level to have a modern feel to it.

I got an example on what I might aim it to look like, this is more of a basic image that I gave out but an example on what idea I'm on about, I'd probably have similar designs but change the pool design by expanding it a little bit.

This is more of a similar look that I am going for with the modern pool standing out more, because that's what I am planning to have with the swimming pool the main vocal point. I think with that type of design it would look really good on how it just stands out in the main level and at the distance and light glare and the sea, sky as a background.

This is another similar type of design that I am going for on my final major 3d level design but what I like about this image is the chairs, this is the similar furniture that I am trying to aim for and with that, the chairs that I am including on my level design would go together well with the environment that I am doing.

This is a video example on some of the designs that I thought was really good and inspirited on the design, something similar that I am going for as well and this expands my idea even more on how to create my level design.
